This version of the portable observatory series – The Octans Observatory has extra heavy-duty 500gsm PVC canvas that is waterproof to stop ingress of water or rising moisture as it condensates on the base of your tent.

The Octans Observatory boasts impressive specifications for its walls and roof with extra strong PU coated Oxford material and 3000mm water head rating. UV stable with its silver on the outside reflecting sunlight (or other campers headlights) and Jet Black interior is the perfect combination that will see you sleeping through the morning without a problem.

The observatory kit provides you with four quality aluminium telescopic poles, additional seamless segmented poles and all the additional guy ropes/tent pegs to keep everything stable. The windshield material is the same as the base octans providing a seamless addition not just an afterthought.

Designed with ease of use in mind, the observatory wind shield can be configured at four points around the base observatory and can extend to your requirements up to its maximum height. Additionally, there are pole clips located at eight points around the opening to mould the wind shield to your specific requirement

Overall, this addition will ensure when all others have given up, your're still imaging and capturing data.
